Stap Isi was built by Tartan Marine Company in 1972. In all 630 of the Tartan 30 models were built between 1970 and 1979. The specifications for the Tartan 30 are:

Even though the boat was in excellent condition when we purchased her, we have spent a lot of time and money this year upgrading the systems and turning it into a full time live-aboard boat.
One of the major improvements was the replacement of the old gasoline inboard engine with a new BetaMarine 30HP diesel engine. This will give us a much more reliable engine and a greatly increased range.
