In November 2004 we left Moline, Illinois on the Mississippi River and headed south for the Gulf of Mexico. Our eventual destination was Madang, Papua New Guinea, about 11,000 miles away. After a couple of false starts, we left the US in December 2005, went through the Panama Canal and on across the Pacific arriving in PNG in September 2006. We work in PNG as Bible Translators and we continue to cruise as much as possible. The purpose of the web site is to make available the logs of our trip and also to provide information about cruising in Papua New Guinea.
